Itinerary details of THE LADAKH TOURS-01

Day 01

Arrival at Leh airport. Overnight Hotel.

Day 02

Leh - Alchi -Sangam-Magnetic Hill Lamayuru-Leh
After breakfast we proceed for a full day trip to visit Alchi Monastery  Ladakh's most loved monastery. Over a century old, its wall paintings are very similar to those of the Tabo gompa in Spiti, Himachal Pradesh. On the way, visit Likir Monastery. Afternoon drive back to Leh, en route visit the great Sangam of Indus & Zanskar rivers and Hall of Fame. Overnight at the hotel

Day 03

03 Leh-Stok-Hemis-Shey-Thiksay-Shanti Stupa
Full day of sightseeing, visiting the three most important monasteries of Ladakh - Hemis Gompa, Thiksey Gompa and Shey Palace. Hemis is one of the largest and wealthiest monasteries in Ladakh and houses about 150 monks; it also stages the annual Hemis festival. On the way back to Leh, we visit the superbly situated, 16th century, Thiksey Gompa, which is perched on a hill top. Last stop is the ruined Shey Palace, once the summer palace of the pre-Tibetan kings. The palace monastery houses a large, bronze, blue haired Buddha statue.
After lunch  we continued to visit Stok Museum and stok village.  Back to Leh hotel for dinner and overnight

Day 04

Leh - Hunder- Deskit  via Khardung La (Nubra Valley)
Leh to Nubra Valley (120 Kms) (Nubra Valley is popularly known as the valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Nubra lies at and altitude of about 10,000 - ft. above the sea level and is drained largely by the Shiyok river. The Siachen river forms its single largest tributary). After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft). Arrive at Hunder by Afternoon. Rest of the day one is free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village. Overnight Hotel.

Day 05

Nubra Valley - Leh
Nubra Valley to Leh (120 Kms) After Breakfast visit Deskit Monastery and drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla Pass. Overnight Hotel.

Rafting Half day Free for Shopping

Day 07

Leh - Pangong Lake –Leh
Leh to Pangong Lake to. After early Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft), through Changla Pass 17,350 ft.,it is the third highest motorable road in the world. 1200 hrs. arrive Pangong,it is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Banks of pangong while appreciating the changing Colors and fascinating high altitude of the Lake. Drive back to Leh by the same route, Overnight Hotel.

Day 08

Tour concludes. ensure a punctual transfer to Domestic Airport
