Nubra resident’s celbrate Degree college announcement

Leh: The executive councilor health Dr. Sonam Wangchok congratulated the people of Nubra for sanctioning a Degree College for Nubra valley and termed it as a milestone to get an easy access to higher education at door step for whole of the Nubra region
     Dr. sonam Wangchok on behalf of the people of Nubra extended gratitude to the chief minister Omar Abdullah, Tourism minister , nawang rigzin Jora and higher education minister Abdul Gani Malik for granting Degree College for Nubra and hoped that this would tremendously accelerate the future course of development in the area.
    Meanwhile, in a joint statement, the councilor Deskit, tsewang rigzin, Councilor Kyagar, Rigzin Wangdus, councilor Panamik. Tsering wangchok and councilor Turtuk abdul ali on the behalf of the people of Nubra extended heartiest gratitude to the chief minister Omer Abdullah, Tourism minister Nawang rigzin Jora and higher education minister Abdul Gani Malik for granting a Degree College for Nubra Region.

 

Leh to get world’s largest solar telescope
Banglore: Soon, India will probably be home to the world’s largest solar Telescope. The Indian Institute of astrophysics (IIA) has submitted a detailed project report (DPR) to the government and has found a favourable site for the Telescope in Leh-Ladakh.
    “Leh Ladakh region has a good sky conditions. After the DPR was submitted last month (March), the proposal is being evaluated by the government. After  that, fabrication of the instrument will starts,” IIA director professor siraj Hassan said on Friday.
